History

Hei!

It all started when I was a young kid. Living on a farm on top of a mountain, we were far away from . I've always enjoyed listening to music.

One summer we had a visit of my wild male cousin. He brought with him a cassette by Kiss; Kiss aliveII From that summer I was sold!! Kiss was the coolest band in the world. Me and my two younger brothers were listening to the cassette every time we had an opportunity. Driving our parents crazy. Kiss alive II is still one of my favourite albums. We started buying all vinyls we could find. Bands such as Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest etc..... And our music collection starting getting big! Our friends at school did not share our sense of music so they thought we were weird. Listening to that "noisy" music! But me and my two younger brothers did not care at all about their opinions. This was our music!! No one could take that away from us!!

Some years later I bought my first guitar. I practiced every day. Making my parents nuts. I don't know if they were patient or not, but at least they let me carry on. End of my teens, I moved from home. My parents said it was silence in the house......

I started playing in different bands in Bergen. And to make a long story short: In lack of results I found out I had to do things on my own. I bought a home studio. Started recording songs I had had ready quite some years. Every instrument were recorded; guitar, keyboard, bass and drums by a drum machine. But there was one big problem; The vocal. Who 's gonna sing? I started looking for a singer. But I wanted a singer with experience. Not just someone passing through. But I soon found out it was not easy to find someone.

In frustration of not finding the "correct" singer, I was one evening sitting by my female cousin. Telling her how hard it was to find some good singer.

She had a suggestion. - "Why don't you sing your own songs?"

- "What?" , I said. - "I can not sing!".

- "Well", she said. - "Have you tried?"

And I answered - "No!"

I never had that thought of singing until she gave me that suggestion. But I listened to her, and thought to myself: - "Why not? Just for my first demo it will be OK". I have been singing on several demos after that. Maybe I will put some of the songs on this page later....

So here I am. With my own homepage, trying to give a presentation of my new project called LostWish. I will soon start recording new songs for this project and give you continious updates.

Last but not least there are some people I have to mention:

- Stig Monsen for helping me updating the page.

- Lilian Rivera for taking pictures.

- Pål Nygård for being a patient supplier for my homestudio........

Thanks for making my LostWish - page reality......
